Author Allison K. Garcia – subject of our Episode 14 interview – is hosting the Readers and Dreamers Facebook party this Saturday, March 24th. She will be talking about her book Vivir el Dream. Vivir el Dream is a novel about an undocumented college student and her mother struggling to achieve the American dream. Linda Palacios, the main character, is a DREAMer, someone who might qualify for DACA.
The Readers and Dreamers party will include discussion and support of DACA, the sharing of stories and favorite Latino literature. There will also be lots of fun and – yes – prizes!
On the day of the “Readers & Dreamers” party, there will be several prizes available, including:
